Despite numerous reports everywhere, despite customer reviews all over the Internet, this car dealer keeps luring customers to their place of business through false adevertising.

They advertise vehicles at low prices with very nice pictures. It is a catch! Once I called for a Jeep Liberty I was given information on it in detail, even offered a 90 day warranty on motor and transmission, and invited to go to their dealership to do a drive test. I got there abour 20 minutes later and the salesman, after I told him I wanted to see and drive that vehicle, immediately offered any of the other vehicles on the lot. He knew what got me there, and despite the fact I told him I wanted to buy cash because I wasn't interested in financing, he insisted!

Once I made it clear I just talked to a "Miguel" over the phone 20 minutes earlier, and he assured me the vehicle was there, and not having any interest in financing a more expensive vehicle than the one I wanted to pay cash for, he went through other "expenses" like tag, dealer fees, etc. I had my tag with me. "Well, you need to pay for the transfer and Insurance". I could get a temporary tag and do the transfer on my own, and purchase insurance any other place. I insisted on him looking for the Jeep Liberty.

After staying inside the office for a very long time (I had time to walk the entire lot back and forth), he then came back out to tell me that vehicle was just "sold". Knowing the time and the process of purchasing a vehicle, that one, in the event it was indeed just sold, should've been still parked outside while the buyer signed all the paperwork it usually takes. Regardless, they are advertising many other vehicles under that price range and none is at their place of business!!

This is the catch and the scam car dealers like this one are using. They advertise a low price vehicle. Whomever is interested most likely has the cash to pay for it and some more to cover for the other regular expenses such as dealer fees, taxes, tag, and insurance. That makes a perfect down payment for any other financed vehicle! That's it!

You get there with your hard cash, lured by false advertising, and as soon as you request seeing the low priced vehicle of your choice, they immediately know how much cash you have and start trying to convince you to drive a more expensive and financed vehicle!

I read many other reviews from other customers afterwards. Had I known these people were so dirty, I would've never set foot over there.

My question is: How come no one has ever investigated and severaly fined them? It is a crime to use false advertising al over the State of Florida! It applies to many different professions, why not revoke a Car Dealer's License?
