I purchased two vehicles from Car Vision and had issues with both immediately after purchase.

I first purchased a used, low mileage SUV in 2004. I was drawn by the price and warranty of the vehicle since I was going through a divorce. The next day the car died. It turns out that despite their 100+ point inspection service that making sure the battery cables were connected was not part of the process. Not two weeks later the radio died due to a short. I experienced other issues and ended up taking the vehicle to a dealer who charged me over $600 and said that the items were things that should have been caught during an inspection.

Fast forward to this year. They moved from their trailer on Markley Street in Norristown to the old Norristown Ford location in Trooper. I thought that with the move and increased inventory that perhaps my initial experience was an isolated one.

My wife purchased a late model VW that a week and a half later made a horrible noise. We contacted Car Vision who said the car was still under manufacturer warranty and we had to take it there. Thank God we did.

They dealership kept the vehicle for two days and performed almost $2000 in repairs. When we asked the dealer if the issues were something that could have been missed in an inspection the service manager said "No. If they truly looked at the vehicle and inspected it they would have found these things". So I called Car Visions - no return call. I sent a letter. We received no reply. Finally I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

We are seeking to be reimbursed for the 2 days rental car expense that never should have happened had they performed their "100+" point inspection like they advertise.

I am a returning customer and have sent others to the dealership and some made purchases and they treat me like this?

STAY AWAY FROM CAR VISION. They have a huge inventory and low prices which is appealing in this economy but purchasing there could end up costing you more money and leave you without a vehicle and a huge loan to pay off.

After reading other complaints I am scared to death of their "extended warranty" that they added to the financing at a discounted rate. If the warranty is like their service I will be contacting the Attorney General's office to file a suit against Car Vision, the warranty company and anyone else involved in their scam of a business.
