Well I just received a letter in the mail today,saying i owe cardservice international #300 dollars. If I don't pay it they will put it on my credit report!!!
I opened my merchant account for 1 WEEK ,and NEVER even USED it AND they want me to pay them 300 dollars. THATS A RIPOFF.
So I NICELY tried calling them to straighten this out,cause surely it was a mistake. RIGHT?
Well I talk to a lady named JESSICA (wouldn't give her last name), and ask her WHY I owe 300 dollars when I closed my account 1 week after I opened it and never used it.
She just said it was a CANCELLATION FEE!!!
Then told me i had to talk to the collections department!!And transfered me before i could say anything!!
Why do I need to talk to collections?? All they wanted to do was TELL me to pay the bill!!
So after calling AGAIN, and AGAIN,and getting the same RUN - around I just decided to FILE a RIPOFF REPORT.
ITS obvious they don't want to try to straighten this out, or even try talking to me about this. All they want to do is MAKE A FEW QUICK BUICKS!!!
AND its also OBVIOUS by all the people filing RIPOFF REPORTS on this company,they are DISHONEST, THEIVES THAT need to be shut down..
I think I should have to pay something for opening a merchant account for A WEEK , then cancelling it. BUT 300 DOLLARS I DON'T THINK SO!
Maybe I will file this with the attorney general office, like the previous customer who had problems with them in regard to charging excessive "penalties..
I mean what's my options THEY are gonna put this on my CREDIT REPORT.
All I wanted to do was work something out so it wouldn't go on my CREDIT, but I'M not PAYING 300 dolars for 1 WEEK of having my account open ,that was never even used.

I too spoke with this Jessica chick the other day about them illegally going to my bank account to take 252.00 dollar with no explanation only later to find out it was for some statements this rat Jessica said I ordered which I didn't. She was horrible and I told her off and hung up on her. How do you make sense to an idiot!!!!
I got them illegally going into my bank account still after I fired this company over a year ago and settled out of court for 1700.00 they owed me in RIP OFF FUNDS.
I suggest that you close your bank account immediately and open a new one if they have your bank account number. And I suggest you notify the bbb and federal trade commission.
They have a nasty habit that someone needs to step up and do their job and shut down some doors.
I don't realize how they get away with it but they are over and over again till someone does something and it sure needs to be QUICK.
I am really frustrated hearing this after I realize that all along they could of been taking large sums of money from my bank account without my knowledge or consent.
This is the worst company. RUTHLESS IS THE WORD!

I own a cardservice office, and deal with these types of comments every single day. "I only had the account open x many days, I should't have to pay anything"
Here's some free advice. Before you sign a contract, ANY CONTRACT actually (gasp) Read it! If you are signing an agreement with a cancellation fee and signing a personal guarantee, don't act shocked when you cancel and get charged the fee.
Because according to you, you didn't "use" the account you shouldn't be help liable for paying for it. Kinda like taking delivery of a new car, getting insurance on it, and then claiming a refund 6 months later on your insurance because you "didn't use it".
Cardservice fulfilled all of their obligations with you. Actually they went above and beyond in reducing the cancel fee, and the way you pay them back is to claim that you were ripped off.
Unbelieveable.

Saying that I am liable for the November fees totaling 80 dollars.And if I agree to pay that they would waiver the 250 dollars early cancellation fee.
So I Happily paid the 80 dollars. I am so glad to have settled that nicely...
Also I would like to add that its because i filed a rip-off report and sent it to them asking to clear up this problem,that they wrote me back with a solution.
