carleton thomas donnelly lawyers Charges $200 per hour outside of DONNELLY LAWYERS for research and its USELESS Rochedale South Queensland

Came across this bloke called Carleton Thomas at the pokies this year.  Told me he does research from his house for Donnelly Lawyers.  Paul Donnelly is the partner in the law firm that he is partnered with.  What a load of b/s.  First - Thomas and Donnelly are not partners in that law firm.  I did my checks.  Law Society of New South Wales does not have Carleton Thomas on their database.  Have heard of Thomas but this was a "newie" that he is partnered with Paul Donnelly.  Anyway; Thomas tells me he needs $200 cash before he does any work for me and he told me that this is what he does with everyone.  He went on to blurb that he has done work in the past for people and they promise to pay him and he doesnt get a brass razzoo.  Anyway I asked him could he do a basic contract for me for the sale of some machinery and plant equipment for my business.  Tells me that would cost $300 per hour due to complexity.  I rang up Queensland Law Society who referred me to the Legal Services Commission.  I asked why am I referred to the Legal Services Commission and I was told by the Law Society that they have received calls about this bloke for quite a while from people from all walks of life and that I should make further enquiries.  Found out that Paul Donnelly is mates outside of work with this bloke and has been for quite some time.  Thomas hooks in stupid people and then does some sort of researching for them and more times than not it is not what they were after.  If trouble brews then a quick call to Paul Donnelly of Unanderra Donnelly Lawyers should fix it and that comes at a further cost to you as the stupendo person who was gullible enough to get rung in to their cash cow operation.  Glad I made some enquiries around the club and surrounding taverns before I coughed up a few thousand dollars to Thomas in cash - oh... and you get a discount if you don't require a receipt so that you save on the GST that Thomas would have had to pay the ATO.  ATO you say?  - yes ATO.
