Carlton Pools ripoff They provide horrible customer service and once they have your money they ignore you Warminster Pennsylvania

Our experience with putting in a plaster pool with Carlton Pools has been a nightmare. It is obvious that their business model is to build the pool as quickly (and cheaply) as possible so that they can get your money, and then deal with the repairs when they get around to it. Last summer was our first summer with the pool, and it took at least 2 months to solve all of the issues with the running of the pool. We had to make multiple phone calls before someone would finally call us back, and when they did, they would not commit to when someone would be out to provide service. When someone came out, you felt extremely lucky if they were knowledgeable.

This year we paid Carlton well in advance to open our pool. Prior to their arrival for this service, we took off the cover to find that the plaster on the sunshelf was all cracked and chipped down to the cement. They have known about this problem (when they came to open the pool they took pictures and wrote a report) for 4 weeks now and still have not sent anyone out to fix it. Mind you, they haven't given back our money to open the pool either. The people at Carlton who we have spoken to have been rude and condesending, but what do they have to loose....they already have our money. Any service they provide for warranty repairs now is money out of their pocket, so we are last on their list.

Unfortunately, when you decide to go with a particular pool company, you have to take their word for their service after the pool is in. I hope this report will inform others so that they do not choose Carlton to build their pool. It is not worth the headache that you will have in dealing with them.
