Cars 4 Causes Donation was a pittance for the vehicle;Took four months to donate to the money to the charity

I donated a 1968 mercedes car.  The car was not in great shape, was not running, but had a relatively new engine.  The body was in excellent shape.  The inside was not so good.

The car was picked up on Nov 20, 2013.

We received a donation letter within weeks saying that the donation was worth less than $500.  That was surprising, but we accepted it.

In February, I found out that the donation money had not been sent to our charity.  They said they check would be processed by the end of February.  That is three months to process the donation!

In mid-March, I called again because the donation money had not still been received.  I was told they had just sent the check.

The charity finally received the money on 3/12/14.  Almost four months after the donation.

The amount : $25.  Just the metal on a 1968 vehicle.  The low blue book price is $3000.

$25 is a rip-off.  I will not use them again.
