i believe the apartments of casa del sol ofi irving txand the towing services of black bull towing of fort worth are engaging in illegal towing. I have overheard from several residents lost their vehicles through shotty towing practices some maybe legit towings but i believe all arent. Now the recent towing which occured on 02-11-2012 happened to a friend of mine who was spending the night at my apartment he was parked in the visitor section of the apartment.

Around 4:20 am i woke up to some noises outside and opened the door to my surprise saw them towing my friends car. I then believe tower saw me open the door then immediately drops the vehicle in the middle of the parking lot and appears to drive off. I wake my friend up to get his keys the tower then comes back to complete the job. I go down stairs to tell the driver that it was parked in visitor parking he looks at me and speeds off. I call the towing company and explained what happend i was rudely told "i must have a visitor pass to park in visitors parking" which is somethong i doubt is very true which at the moment half the vehicles inside th complex has visitors passes and they are not parked in visitors parking.

As for the apartment complex itself they force the residents to change parking permits monthly whenever they pay rent in other words dont pay your rent your vehicle gets towed in which either means you pay more in late fees or you get evicted (eventually may happen due to you paying get your vehicle out and you cant get back and forth to work) the cost for them to load it to their trucks is $250 plus $50 notification fee ($50 for a piece of paper!) my vehicle was towed the following night after i paid rent the same day. You then have to drive nearly 30 miles just tl retrieve your vehicle I have beliefs that this is a either a family operated or a close friend related business either way its wrong how they pull that manuever and take many of these people who live here can barely support their families and need transportation back and forth for work and from what i know this wrong and illegal

I experienced the exact same thing, and was told that no matter what time your vistors come that you are required to call the emergency number (which was told by the landlord) and they will come to your door and deliver you a pass, no matter what time. REALLY AM I A CHILD?
