I saw a commercial at a time when I was falling behind on everything and could not find a way out. I thought Cash Call would be a god sent. I called the number and they directed me to thier website to begin the process of obtaining a loan. I followed all the instruction, and was informed that an agent would be contacting me by phone to help me with the finally portion of recieving my loan. He saided that the interest rate would be no greater than 25%, so I agreed to the terms of the loan $84 a month for two years.

I made all my payment for about 9 months. Was short one month tried to get them to wait for 10 days for the payment as was threaten by the agent I spoke to that if the money was not in my account on that day, then they would just go directly to my job to get the money. So I borrowed money to insure the payment was there. I then decided that I was going to go to thier website to check the balance on my account and discovered that after making almost a years worth of payment I still owed them the amount I borrowed so I contacted the company and that is when they informed me that only about $6 of my monthly payments were going towards the principal I couldn't believe but continued to make payments because I wanted to do the right thing.

A few months later (February to be exact) I again had a financial hardship and had to ask for them to wait 10 days to take the payment this time they agreed but charged me an extra $15 a late payment fee. The following I again called a request they wait until my next payday to take the payment they agreed told me there would be an addition $15 charge for late payment but then they went ahead a accessed my account for the payment on the due date instead of waiting for the day we had agreed upon it two days after they had accessed my account I recieved an email from them stating they were going to take the payment from my account which was 7 days before our agreed upon date.

So I called and spoke to a represenative of thiers who said that the person that helped me that day forgot to note my account that was thier fault and there was no way to stop them from accessing my account again on that date thereby causing me several overdrafts in my account and countless hours trying to stop them from getting any more money from my account. I have not sent them any more money because I feel that they are taking advantage of poor people that need help. They also repeatedly called my work place even after I infromed them that could not have personal calls at work.

They also disclosed information about my account to the director of nursing where I work, at which time she informed them that it was illegal for them to be dissclosing that information to her and that they were not to call there again. The other day I recievd a letter from some lawyer stated they were going to take action if they have not heard from me in 30 days.

A girl I work with unbeknowst to me also had a problem with cashcall and told me about the class action suit so I have come to join in. We as indiviuals can not stop these people from doing this but as a collective group maybe just maybe we can do something about this company and make them pay for the hardships they have caused all thier customers. Thank you for this opportunity.

Unfortunately.....

Cash Call clearly outlines what the interest rate is, and it isn't anywhere near 25%; it is 99%. It is clear from their website, on their documentation, etc... I don't know what was said because I wasn't there, but I cannot imagine for one second anyone told you the interest rate was no more than 25%.

The best advice I can give you is borrow the money from a friend or from family who won't charge you 99%, and pay off the loan in total. Then, never darken the doorway of anyone from Cash Call.

CashCall's interest rates for the various states that they service are clearly stated on their website. I am sorry to say but I doubt borrrowers of CashCall would win a lawsuit against CashCall as CashCall states their loan terms including interest rates on their website. You may win a lawsuit for telephone collections harassment but I doubt that will drop the interest rate since you agreed to it when you took the money.
