Lost my job got behind, honestly, I checked out cash call complaints after receiving the loan, so I decided best to close my checking account, and notify them before I was ever behind, of having a hardship. They said they couldnt stop from withdraws of my bank, haha, I stopped it before they could cause me more of a hardship. They also said that I was not eligible for any payments to be put behind or lower payments or any help of any kind. So then the phone got disconnected.

So now that they can no longer harass, abuse, threaten, and annnoy me, more than once per day, they made the mistake of doing the same to the people I had listed on my loan as a reference.

Kinda funny how cash call never called my employment or references, before approving my loan, but did after I went into default with them.

Anyways, after them realising all their nasty tactics were not working on me, they offered to lower the rate, payment amount and as they put it wipe the slate clean. Heck they even offered a rebate towards my loan balance if i pay on time for 12 months, catch is I have to give them another voided check to withdraw my payments on, hmmm, not sure I wanta do this, with all the other complaints and horror stories out there .
Oh yeah they got lucky with the new phone number, but heck I wasnt behind I wasnt hiding, just told them this conversation was being recorded, hmmm, they said they couldnt continue the conversation then and hung up...Could this be a way to have them save on their phone bill?

-----------------------------
From this "voided" check they call pull the bank transit number and checking account numbers for your new bank account, enabling them to attempt an electronic check to raid your checking account...taking everything you have and probably causing an chain reaction of bounced checks. .But then again, from all these posts it's clear that CashCall is a great company...they'd never do such a thing, would they?
