Basically they stole my laptop and my money. Totally underhanded company who has ripped others off as well. Casselberry, Florida

On January 4, 2013 I went to http://www.cashinyourlaptop.com. When you google their site their header states: Sell Your Laptop - Any Laptop - Any Model - We Pay Cash TODAY! . It goes on to state: Sell your laptop working or not we buy all brands and models and we pay the most cash, free pre paid shipping box, top cash paid for laptops!

First off they didn't supply a free shipping box. They also did not pay TODAY! or that day when the form was filled out. They did supply a shipping label by UPS that you print out. They state that they pay the most cash, top cash paid for laptops. This is a total bogus lie and in fact they stole my computer that looked Brand NEW!!  So the Google search states they give you a box, they didn't.

When you get to their site you see Instant Quote and they have you click on a green bar to fill out information about the make and model of your computer. Then they give you a quote and send you a link to print out a shipping label.

Jan 5 2013 they emailed me and with the subject line: "Have you mailed your laptop yet?"

Jan 6 2013 they emailed me and subject was: Like us on Facebook and get $5

Jan 28th 2013 they emailed and stated the order update status went to received your laptop and inspection is underway.

Jan 29th 2013 they emailed with bogus details: they stated that the LCD Cover was Broken, also LCD Bezel was Broken, Palmrest - Touchpad were Broken, and another lame one that the Keyboard was Heavily faded keys , they stated the Bottom Case was Broken..

All of the above is complete and utter lies. My computer shinned, I'm a typist and the keys were perfect. The LCD screen was perfect, there is no broken touchpad, it was perfect, bottom of the case is perfect... there is no broken LCD Bezel..  Everything they stated was an utter lie and the only thing that wasn't was they stated I did not include an AC cord which I didn't..  This computer looked perfect in all ways, like brand new.

When I first sent it to them, I paid 13.00 to an UPS site to ship it totally and utterly secure. I watched them secure it too. They also saw the item was in awesome condition and like new. It was also shipped in a box for a perfect fit.

When they emailed me and stated such things I KNEW I was just ripped off big time. Their policy is that if you do not agree to their new quote which in my case was $14 (who would agree to that? I spent $13 just to mail it to them safely), If you don't agree to their new quote then all souls that go to their site have to pay out of their own pocket to have this ripoff company ship it back to you.  You can guess how many wish to do that. I wrote them and told them I will pursue them legally and that I have witnesses to the condition of my laptop and that I demand them to return it on their dime and when it comes back in the shape they describe I was going to get an attorney to have them replace the damage they caused.. I realized that they have a perfect laptop sitting there or perhaps they already sold it,  but it was mailed in perfect order and shape and so their hope is to resell it!! There was nothing wrong with anything they said. It looked shinny and new.

This company is a complete fraud. They take your laptop and resell them.. Their company goes also by the name United Computer Warehouse and they reside at 225 Live Oaks Blvd in Casselberry FL 32707. Online they have two web addresses: http://www.cashinyourlaptop.com and also http://www.unitedcomputer.com. Their phone number is (407) 834-4334

Their business details stated at http://www.superpages.com/bp/Casselberry-FL/United-Computer-Warehouse-L0007418795.htm. It shows that they have been in business since 1987 BUT their cashinyourlaptop.com web address says its been in business since 2000. They seem to be one in the same people because that is exactly where I was asked to ship my laptop too, at the given address above. They also do computer monitors, software, computers, security voice dial, etc.

Please note that when you go to the http://www.cashinyourlaptop.com they want to be paid by Paypal.. When you go to their other site they accept Visa and American Express. When you go to the other web address there are big bold letters saying ATTENTION we have moved and our new address is: 3274 SOUTH U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92, CASSELBERRY, FL 32707 PHONE # 407-834-4334

I believe that the first address is where they do their ripoff online computer scamming and the second location they are trying to keep separate from the online scam business.

Don't go to their sites or stores, they steal your laptops and resell them to make profit while you are left high and dry with no reimbursement for your merchandise. They need to be stopped. All people should report them who have had this same thing take place and so far I have found a couple others who have reported them on here as well.
