cashinyourlaptop.com liar, manipulative, scam, false promises, unresponsive, shady Internet

I am a college student working two jobs while going to school full time to make ends meet. I burn through a laptop about once a yeardue to having it bounce around in my backpack and car constantly. When I found cashinyourlaptop.com, I thought it was a blessing. I had 2 broken laptops just lying around and was ecstatic when they offered me $60 apiece for them. To me, thats the difference between taking the bus and being able to gas up my car until pay-day.

I shipped the boxes with laptops inside and waited. After waiting 2 weeks (which seemed too long, they are based in Florida and I am in Kentucky but that could just be the USPS fault), I recieved an email saying the laptops were only worth $11 a piece. The report claimed that there was major cosmetic damage and a cracked screen. The computers I sent had burnt out their insides from overheating, but were physically pristine! I demanded they send my computers back rather than send me a measly $22, and I never heard from them again. Apparently you take what you can get or they just rob you instead.

I highly discourage you from ever using this site, and it disguists me that business practices such as these are even allowed in this day and age, especially in the United States of America. It saddens me that I apparently have no recourse, and simply lost computers that I could have donated to recycling or something like that instead.
