 I responded to the TV commercial CATS MEOW and accessed the web site displayed in the commercial.I chose the '2 For 1' offer, as adverstised on TV for a price of 19.95 for 2 toys plus shipping and handling. I also opted for the 'deluxe' model with '3 speeds' for an additional 5 dollars per toy.

At NO time during the on-line session is a 'shopping cart' or running balance displayed.  A fact I did not realize until after I entered the credit card info.

Then an invoice appeared with the total amount to be charged as 91.78 ! I searched for a telephone number but there are NO telephone numbers on the web site.  I clicked on the 'contact us' button and was migrated to a stubbed page, a dead end, with one option of 'order status'.

I then checked Google (I should have done that first) for Cats Meow Complaints and found a site that had the identity of the merchant behind the product:  Allstar Marketing Group that is also doing business as Marketing Direct Group, both at the same address of 2 Skyline Dr, Hawthorne NY  10532.  MOST IMPORTANT was the eMail address, to which I sent a note, on a Sunday, and in the first sentence, I said I was going to file an "FTC" (Federal Trade Commission) complaint about abusive practices and I included my 'order number' from the on-line invoice..and LO and BEHOLD, I got a reply on Sunday: my order was cancelled !

Recommendation:  if you are overcharged, immediately send an eMail to the company (see above) and state that you are going to file an FTC Complaint, you will get relief.

FTC has a web page and a very easy to follow step by step procedure for filing a complaint.
