Cavalier Telephone Company, Cavtel Cavalier Telephone Services Thieves and Dishonest Billing Practices Richmond Virginia

I first signed up for Cavalier in September of 2006; I have had nothing but bad experiences with them. Instead of them working with the other telephone phone provider to make sure service started and stopped at the same time they didn't. I had no telephone service inside my home to the point where I had to plug the phone on the outside of the house through the main box on my back porch. I called them 8 times along w/emails before they sent someone to my home.

This is where it gets ugly; the tech came out to my home, went on the back porch tested the line closed the door, distracted me so that I wouldn't go the back door stating that we should make sure the phone rings before he leaves. He started talking to me, next thing I know I was heading out the door w/him to get back to work. Come to find out he never shut my door it just looked like he did.

My son gets home to find that the gas was on and several items were missing from my home. I have never had a break in, in the 10 years I've been in my home until October 13, 2006. I did a little research on the tech and come to find out he had a fraudulent case against him at the Circuit Court. They did absolutely nothing.

Be very careful when dealing w/Cavalier or Cavtel whichever one they want to use in the end it all spells Crooks! Watch your bills too; they charge you a month in advance before the bill is due and then try to convince you that the bill is correct.
