CBC Collections ripoff paid debt owed completely off will not show satisfied Columbus Ohio

I fell on hard times and got behind on a sbc phone bill. the phone was disconnected and had a balance of 900.00.
Sbc apparently turned it over to collections to cbc collections. after I got back on my feet the account was paid in full with interest.

I recently refinanced my home and my loan officer said it was still showing as open on my credit report. I contacted the company and all they could give me was a letter of satisfaction but refused to remove it on my credit report or state that it was satisfied on my credit report.

Yes, I have the letter but it sure doesn't help my credit score, when i have been working hard to clean it up. Good luck to anyone out there that deals with these idiots. They get their money and still won't put you in good standing again, now that is a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
