CBCS BellSouth fradulent credit reporting Columbus Ohio

I received my credit report and found that I had a collection from CBCS with BellSouth NC being the original creditior. I contacted CBCS via mail requesting any information they had on this account as my account with BellSouth has always been paid in full each month.

I recieved some information back from them showing a date of service and an address for the service. I of course did have service with Bellsouth during that time period but the address was clear across the state.

I again contacted CBCS regarding the information and wanted further documention on the account which they refused to provide to me. This has been going on for 8 months. I continue to get collection calls which are all recordings that I cannot get a live person to respond to. I also contacted Experian disputing this charge and they say they contacted CBCS and will not remove the charge.

I am at wits end trying to figure out how to get this off my report as they have been listing it for the last year but show the account has been opened since 2001.

They do not want to give me any more information on the account and Bellsouth show no record of my having service at the address listed on CBCSs report.
