"CBE Group", "cbe group", "cbe group inc" "CBE Group, inc" Keep On Bringing Up Old Fraud Proven Accounts Years Later Cedar Falls Iowa

So I got this e mail.

I at first though it was a scam from some people I made the mistake of talking to about what my school had done to me who were scammers and not actually people trying to help, so I cut off that conversation and they have been calling me trying to get my social security number out of me ever since(they don't actually do loan forgiveness for people who were wronged by the school taking out unauthorized loans etc etc etc-they are scammers)...

So originally I had thought it was them but it turned out to be this was an entirely different company not just the scammers with one letter changed around.

The thing is. I never gave CBE Group my e mail address and have no reason to believe they are contacting me for a legitimate reason.

The only thing I can think of is the verizon account that pops back up on my credit report every two to three years despite the proven fraud in BOTH accounts they had someone take out under my name. Every two to three years I have to go through the same song and dance of re going through all this mess because someone committed fraud and its obvious enough fraud I am not liable for it by either company's supposed standards. At this point it happened over a decade ago and at this point it's just harrassment. I shouldn't have to revisit this every two to three years to RE get it taken BACK OFF my credit report.

The creepy thing is I never gave them the e mail address they have and I have no idea how they got it or why they seem to feel it's ok to use it.

I have included screenshots, cropped to only include the relevant parts of the screen and with some crude blacking out of my name and e mail address. Everything else is exactly as it was sent to me.

Something about this stinks that is for d**n sure.
