Direct TV CBE Group, Inc. Original promise, $40/month - First billing=$68.99 No response to complaint. Spokane Valley, Washington

Lady came to door from the satellite company.  She committed to a price of $40/month including free HBO, STARZ!, & SHOWTIME.

I received statement from Direct TV stating we owed $78.99....

My wife called the lady (Serina 602-826-1042) and told her about the erroneous billing.  A few days later she received a call from the satellite company, saying that was a mistake and we only owed $40.

Soon we received another billing for $78.99.   Since most companies charge more than the monthly amount for the first month, she paid $78.99.  When the second billing came (at the increased amount) she called Direct TV and cancelled the service, explaining why.  They said the reason it was so expensive is that she had not used the coupons (which she had never received or heard about).

After the service was cancelled, my wife received a letter stating they could not honor the coupon that came in ???? because  the service had been cancelled.

Their most recent billing has come to $407.33, all because of their primary gouging making it impossible for us to do business with their practices.
