I CONSIDER MYSELF A VERY HONERABLE MAN , I SERVED IN THE MARINES, TWO PURPLE HEARTS , A VETERAN OF THE GULF WAR .....I AM A HARD WORKING TRUCKER , WITH 10 YEARS PERFECT SAFETY RECORD ON TIME DELIVERIES, ETC. I WAS RAISED ON A FARM IN TENNESSEE. AND HAVE OLD FASHIONED VALUES.
IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION, ON CNN NEWS THAT INDIANAPOLIS WAS THE "GAY HUB OF THE MIDWEST", THAT TRULY PUT FEAR INTO ME ...IT SCARED ME !.......HOWEVER , I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING PERSONAL AGAINST GAY /HOMOSEXUAL MEN.
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AND TRAUMATIC TO EXPLAIN MY STORY, BUT I WILL TRY MY BEST....
I WORKED FOR CELADON FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND ABOUT SOME TIME IN AUGUST 2008, I MADE THE MISTAKE OF TAKING MY TRUCK IN FOR REPAIRS TO THE SHOP , AT THE CELADONS MAIN TERMINAL IN INDIANAPOLIS........I BROUGHT MY TRUCK TO THE SHOP, AND FIGURED I WOULD TAKE MY DOG FOR A WALK WHILE I WAIT FOR REPAIRS IN THE DRIVERS PARKING AREA.....IT WAS A QUIET EVENING , FRIDAY ABOUT 6PM.......BUT, MY TROUBLES STARTED WHEN , I SAW ONE OF THE CELADON MINIVANS [ USED TO TRANSPORT DRIVERS], SHAKING AROUND , WELL, I WALKED OVER WITH MY DOG , AND IN A STATE OF SHOCK SAW 3 NAKED MEN KISSING AND HAVING ORAL SEX!.........I COVERED MY DOGS EYES, WENT INTO SHOCK AND AWE,...I RAN LIKE HELL !, I IDENTIFIED THE 3 MEN ....ONE WAS JON RUSSELL , STEVE RUSSELL'S SON , THE OTHER WAS BILL OSBORN ,THE DIRECTOR OF SAFETY, AND HIS ASSISTANT KIETH SHORES!!!
I WENT BACK TO MY TRUCK IN THE SHOP ......I WAS OUTRAGED AND HORRIFIED BY THIS SIGHT!! I SWEAR ON MY LIFE WHAT I SAW !!
I STAYED AT THE TERMINAL FOR THE WEEKEND FOR MORE REPAIRS ........AND MONDAY MORNING......I WENT TO THE DISPATCH OFFICE TO SEE MY DRIVER MANAGER FOR A LOAD OUT OF INDY .......I WAS APPROACHED BY STEVE RUSSELL AND BILL OSBORN ......THEY WANTED TO TALK WITH ME IN THIER OFFICE .....BILL OSBORN SAID TO ME, " IF YOU TELL ANYONE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAW YOU WILL NEVER DRIVE A TRUCK AGAIN.....HE HAD A NERVOUS TWICH IN HIS EYE ..HIS WHOLE FACE WAS SHAKING,.....HE IS AN OLD GUY ABOUT 60. ...STEVE RUSSELL PUT HIS ARM AROUND ME AND IN A QUIET WHISPER SAID ," JAMES DONT WORRY THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN THE MINI VAN....... JUST DONT TELL ANYONE,....HOW ABOUT WE GET YOU A NEW TRUCK!....I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS!
I WENT BACK TO MY OLD TRUCK IN DISGUST AND HORROR, I THOUGHT STEVE RUSSELL SHOULD PAY FOR THERAPY FOR ME .
IN THE NEXT WEEK, I WAS DOING 90 MILE RUNS, AND MY DISPATCHER STARTED TO TREAT ME VERY BAD ...I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG!
I QUIT A WEEK LATER IN DISGUST,..AND WENT THRU SEVERAL JOBS ...I BELIEVE I AM BEING ,"BLACKLISTED', IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY!
IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVISE ...PLEASE HELP!

d**n. I drove in that van all the way to Wax to pick up my truck. I always heard that there were gay execs there.
They s***canned me due to idle %. Before that, I didn't get enough miles to make any money.
I can see them threatening you like that. They are scum. I still keep track of their stock, and celebrate when it takes a beating.
Get a copy of your DAC and check it.
Have another person call Celadon as a potential employer and see what they say. Or you can call them yourself if you want to, acting like an o/o with an extra truck. But I'd check with someone that knows how these reference calls go, like a recruiter or someone with inside knowledge. They might be able to give you some tricks of the trade.

Several male drivers at celadon complained that bill osbourne and other male office workers put cameras facing in their sleeper berths.....I wonder why!!!

#1 turn off the caps lock and don't use all capital letters, It's called SHOUTING! and it's actually hard to read with bifocals!(if you keep hitting caps lock a lot there are programs out there that will turn it off! Google caps lock programs and pick one! Just be sure its for Vista or XP. Don't try to do the ones where you have to go into the registry to shut it off!
#2 You just "screwed the pooch" by naming names in your post and believe it or not you just committed libel by naming the names! If I were you I'd edit this post and remove their names! ASAP. Just say 3 from the office area or something like that! That is a fight you WILL NOT win! P.H's and Veteran status or not! it's your word against 3 "upstanding" people! ROFLMAO!
#3 Go to DAC or USIS or HireRight and ask for a copy of your DAC but you should get a copy of it every time a company searches your DAC report. If Celedon put an unfavorable report on your DAC and it's untrue then look on the page and there is a link to file a rebuttal and fill it out and send it on it's way. DO NOT USE DACFIX as they do the same thing but you fill out all the paperwork and they send it on it's way and you're out I think it $149.00 for what you can do your self!
