Celebration Photography, Inc. Jon Lee Kern Photography No call/No show to our 1/22/2011 Wedding!!! Fullerton, California

My husband and I have been floored by the complete and total lack of interest Mr. Jon Lee Kern, his wife Mirelle Appelbaum Kern, and their employee Shameka Henderson have displayed toward their company not showing up at our January 22, 2011 wedding.

We have a signed, and paid for, contract.  We had contact with Ms. Henderson the week of the wedding.  The start time for photos was 2:00 PM.  The entire bridal party, and family members, tried frantically to reach anyone at the numbers provided.  With the ceremony to begin at 4:30 PM family members began taking pictures on their personal cameras, none of which were professional quality.

The ceremony came and went.  Still no word from any Celebration Photography, Inc. representative.  Late in the evening we received a phone call from Ms. Henderson, and told us we would get our money back the following Thursday.  Unfortunately we are being told there is no money to refund us by Mr. Kern because a former employee embezzled $30K from June, 2010 to December, 2010.  Mr. Kern has proven to be uninterested in providing any insurance information, or with a phone number to reach him.

We are working with Detective John Minn with Fullerton Police Department, case # 11-6979.  Please contact him immediately, and refer to the case number.  Make copies of your contracts, invoices, receipts, etc. to create a paper trail that clearly documents the fraudulent activity by Mr. Jon Lee Kern, Mirelle Appelbaum Kern, and Shameka Henderson; mail or drop off this information to Detective Minn.
