I was charged a "payment protector" plan of $31.83. This was done by a "third party" company who claims they can make "sales" if there is a verbal agreement. The only verbals said to the phone operator were "NO THANK YOU!" I was still charged and payment would not come off the bill for 28 billing days. I don't feel I should pay for something I never purchased (even if the payment is coming off). What am I going to be charged for on the next bill? Also, when I asked the third party for the number directly to Chase, I was given a sex hot-line number (not appreciated). I don't trust the company and it is unfortunate because we were happy with the rewards the card offered!

Improper Charges

I would call the card and dispute that charge, that is why the dispute process is in place. If it is a third party, get them to stop the transactions and fight for the reversal of other charges.
