Cheesecake Factory You call it hospitality ... Santa Monica California

We are die hard fans of The Cheesecake Factory, but our experience in the Santa Monica Mall location by the 3rd Steet Promenade was a total disappointment this past weekend. The restautant was not busy and we were seated right away in the patio area; i.e. no waiting at all which tells you the kitchen and servers could easily handle the guests present, but instead the drinks came out superslow, when we were super thirsty that day hot out so slow that we almost wanted to get up and leave, the salad came with the meal instead of first we could have had with the bread while waiting for our meals, the waitress took the food away from our table without asking if we were done eating when we were crowd watching not noticing the waitress at our table spoiling our dining experience by taking our plates away with still good food we were enjoying.  Anyhow, overall a terrible restaurant & hospitality experience for this normally fabulous establishment.  This location needs to train their waiters and waitresses as servers, we could feel many of them enjoyed chatting amongst one another more than serving as they are supposed to and getting paid for by the restaurant and us as guests in form of tips. We will probably avoid eating here next time out for fun and shopping at this fabulous mall.
