Chetu bills itself as a world class programming shop that brings you efficiency and better pricing because they use Indian programmers etc.

Unfortunately their programmers are not very good, are terrible communicators and the biggest problem is the way they bill. Instead of doing a flat rate per project, they require you to hire a "resource" ie: a person in India "full time" dedicated to you 40 hours a week. This resource however is NOT dedicated to you. There simply is no way. These people work at a snails pace. They are incentivized not to get the job done but to use up your hours and keep the project going for as long as possible. Their incentives are directly opposed to yours as a client--- the longer the project goes the more money they make and they will use every excuse they can to delay the project or make it go slower.

They tell you that you will have an assigned project manager to help. All this person did was translate and interpet the broken english from the persons we dealt with in India. The project manager himself had very little understanding of our needs and scope of project and was not helpful. We still had to manage every little step of the project ourselves. We literallly had to have conference calls almost daily in order to get an update, review, and assign the next step.

The Indian resource/programmer also did all of their testing of what they did the prior day during our daily reviews instead of testing them himself. Again, there's no way they were dedicated to our project and I doubt they ever put in a full 40 hours a week. If they were dedicted to our project 100% and put in 40 or more hours a week then their people are incompetent at best.

Their people were also very limited in their ability to implement the code they wrote into our current system. I realized this early on and decided to let them finish writing the code and have my team implement it on our end. Unfortunately once we received the "finished" code, we had hired an programmer ourselves who was local who said the code was filled with errors and pretty poorly written with obvious errors. Errors that were readily apparent and any decent coder would have seen and fixed immediately and quickly whereas it would've taken Chetu 4 days to do one simple fix.

I friend of mine had hired Chetu previously and he had a similar experience as mine. After spending 150,000 they still didn't have a finished product. The project stretched on and on and on. They ultimately abandoned the whole project.

I should have heeded my friends advice. Chetu simply does not provide the quality of services that they say they do.

On top of it, the CEO is a total a**h***. Once our project was done we delayed payment until our own programmer could fully review the code. The CEO sent us numerous emails threatening lawsuits for collections a week after we cancelled our contract with him. No courtesy email/letter was sent requesting payment, he simply came out threatening us. I choose not to work with people like that and had I known that was his style, I would've never hired Chetu.

Finally, I think its important to know that I met Chetu at a trade show. They claim to have special knowledge of certain industries. This simply is not true. They are not specialized in any industry or vertical. Their project managers are babysitters, not experienced in any field that will help you with your needs. Maybe this is what you get with "outsourcing" but suffice it to say, I'll never be outsourcing again and certainly would advise anyone against hiring Chetu.

We are the authors author of the above post dated February 11, 2015 as well as the reply to same.  Following that posting and Chetu's rebuttal, Chetu and MyMotionCalendar.com were able to openly communicate and work out our differences.  Chetu and its managment are reasonable and, in restrospect, the items at issue in the original post stemmed from a series of miscommnuications, which were neither Chetu's fault nor the fault of MyMotionCalendar.

We would remove my post but only Ripoffreport.com can remove posts once made. We will be requesting that Ripoffreport.com remove the post and rebuttal post, however, in the event that the site does not remove the post, we wanted to clarify the record.

This anonymous post was made by MyMotioncalendar.com, presumably through their CEO Jonathan Broder. Even though we’ve had thousands of customers, it is easy to point out who made this anonymous post.

Hello, I am the CEO of Chetu. In the post below, MyMotionCalendar calls me an a***h***. In a civilized society, business work out differences over the phone, or arbitration or through lawsuits. MyMotionCalendar or their CEO Jonathan Broder did none of that.

 Who is Chetu? Chetu has grown 100% organically with no bank loan, debt or investor from a 1 employee to a 1000+ employee company. We will be completing 15 years in business this month and touched close to $30 Million in revenue last year. We are a home grown company that takes pride in serving our Customers. It is only due to our exceptional and high quality service have we grown organically. No one infused capital into us to do our payroll. Customers wanted more of or work, business model, ethics, team and so we have kept going. We are proud of where we are. Our team of project managers and developers are exceptional. If we were bad or even close to as portraed by MyMotionCalendar or Jonathan Broder, we'd be out of business in the first year.

Please do not believe this post. The post below is completely baseless, false and a complete dramatization done to intimidate us, so MyMotionCalendar does not have to pay their past due bills.

If you have any questions about us, please feel to reach out to us. We will be happy to provide tons of references of our Customers who are healthy businesses. Mr. Jonathan Broder “is it” in MyMotionCalendar. One man show, surrounded by a single-digit support staff with a revolving door.

 What really happened? MyMotionCalendar entered into a “work for hire” software development services contract, on or about August 26, 2014. As part of the contract Chetu was to provide services and was to be paid for its work.

 In a gist, they can fire us anytime if we are bad, but pay their bills if they keep working with us.

 Chetu extended a credit to MyMotionCalendar while performing its services. As part of our contract with MyMotionCalendar, Chetu billed in arrears. That is, we would send an invoice to MyMotionCalendar on September 30 for the work done in September. Then we gave additional 30 days, under Net 30 days to bay their invoices. And if Mr. Jonathan Broder and his team would claim they were running late and would pay, Chetu extended courtesy terms and continued the services.

…MyMotionCalendar failed to pay its bills. After extending the courtesies we realized that MyMotionCalendar never had the desire (or perhaps the money) to pay. As a result, the past due emails from our Accounts team got more direct and the relationship was terminated in the end of December, 2014. So, it was just a 4 month gig (close to the minimum threshold we accept), where we quickly realized that either MyMotionCalendar and Jonathan Broder did not have the money OR never had the intention to pay their bills…

 Was the quality that bad? All of the points are baseless and dramatized so Jonathan Broder can intimidate us and wiggle out of paying their bills.

As a matter of fact, Chetu had several “production releases” for the tasks that we completed. That is, our work(s) were tested by Jonathan Broder and the MyMotionCalendar team before giving the go ahead and put into production. The work we did was helping MyMotionCalendar, make money….but they’ve never paid for it.

Jonathan Broder or his team never terminated the relationship due to ANY of the issues he dramatizes below. He could have fired us anytime, but he kept us going.

Keep in mind, that during these 4 month period, Mr. Broder cycled 3 different people (counterparts for Chetu to work with) who went in and out of his employ. Each one pulling in completely different direction.

What about the timing of the post? Notice that this post was made on February 11, 2015. Way after all things were over. Why so late? Because MyMotionCalendar was being handed over to Collection Attorneys. I _DID_ write numerous emails to him to pay his bills. So did our accounting team. Instead of paying their bills MyMotionCalendar presumably through Jonathan Broder engaged in this intimidation tactics (of posting on the internet).

Who is MyMotionCalendar.com? How ethical and reliable is Jonathan Broder and his crew..

What are we doing about this post? A lawsuit is being filed against them. We will let the legal system of the Southern District of Florida decide who is right and who is wrong. As a business, if disputes cannot be resolved on the phone, then the Court system is the proper channel. Not an internet post.
