,Last month I tried to make a reservation at MAINSTAY SUITES in Port St. Joe, Fl for the week of Nov 1, 2016 using some of my “privilege” points.  Ha, that’s a joke.

The hotel has no vacancies for that week.  However, if I change to AAA, Senior or Best Rate – I get all kinds of availability for the same time period.

So what’s going on here – they advertise buy 2 nights get 3^rd night free. I have 28,470 points accumulated as of today.  I switched from xxxxx to using their facilities a couple of years ago, to take advantage of this offer. 

This is the first time I tried to use my accumulated points – I’m told I have to wait until 1 month before I arrive, to reserve if using points.  Of course, there will never be any vacancies then at the more popular locations! 

I think this is a terrible misrepresentation of their advertizing and it is – INTENTIONAL DECEPTION.
