I recently purchased a 14 week old "Cane Corso" puppy from the Glicks. I knew immediately upon first sight she is not a pure bred as they claim, even though the mother and father of our puppy supposedly are registered pure bred corso's. She does not have the facial features of a Cane Corso her apparent mother was not large enough nor.did she have the square nose and muzzle, shape or jowls a Corso should. After the two and a half hour drive and seeing the conditions upon which she was kept left us with no choice to take her to provide adequately for her.

She was kept in a barn in a pile of straw, she wreaked of feces from herself, horses and steer, which were also in the barn. She had a large gash on the right side of her nose, which made her the whole nose and area between and above her eyes swell significantly. I bathed her the same day we picked her up, and her behavior trying to get close to the sore to clean it led me to believe she was in significant pain.

Additionally, she is suffering with difficulty breathing at night as her respiratory rate increases significantly and she pants heavily which leaves her struggling to sleep. She also has a malformed rib cage and her hip bones were slightly visible as she had an abnormally large tummy. I will be taking her to the vet today (2/2/18) to get a check-up and hopefully get an answer as to why she breathes like that, hopefully it is not serious. Given my experience and all the issues I conclude they are not a reputable breeder. This info above is the message I sent keystonepuppies.com. The vet diagnosed her with pneumonia for now, the antibiotics seem to be working.

I hope so, because we already love her so much. Our 5 year old Corso is becoming attached already too. In regards to her breed... I believe she may be American Staffordshire terrier, she looks like but is too big to be a pit, and if the woman showed us the real mother then she was larger than a pit. But definitely not any where near the height or length of our Corso.i can't afford the breed test right now. But will soon, just because I am curious and hopefully it will help prevent this from happening to other people and puppies in the future.
