I reported earlier 11/12 & 11/14 about ongoing medical problems with the Newfoundland pup we rec'd. At our vet check up 12/6 we were told that the ongoing reason the pup was having problems was due to sarcoptic mange. That this would have to come from the kennel because of how young the puppy is and now we have to treat our older 10 year old dog who's never had such problems as well as the entire house. Needless to say, we're up to almost 1,000 dollars now between multiple medications that have to be given 2-3 times a day, vet visits, shots that weren't given appropriately or by veterinarians, special feed because she's still slightly underweight and shots for illness. Furthermore they were making some contacts regarding the running of a puppy mill simply because they were so upset by the ongoing medical problems.
We've tried contacting the breeder and have received no response, we contacted the AKC looking for the agent Mrs. Harmon listed to no avail. There is a vet listed in the area with the name from the "health certificate" we rec'd but our vet says it's not worth the paper it's printed on. Furthermore, in pursuing more research it seems that complaints are lodged against both her and her husband for various online companies. The really sad part is that I rec'd recommendations to go there.... and apparently there is little care for either the animals, particularly these poor puppies who are/were being eaten alive by mites.

Funny you should meation buying from people that are "Puppy Mills"!!!
That is one thing that we are not
We are MO State Licesened Facilty
Memebers of MPBA, USDA, QSBA, PPA
We are inspected by both the state, USDA and AKC
Never have we had any Volations with any of them
Nor do we sell sick puppies
I have used the same vet for 5 years now and they can and will verify that everything stated here from one person is fake and untrue.
We come HIGHLY recommended from past customers that have boughten puppies from us before
Just because we raise dogs/puppies does not make us a puppy mill
You do the math .. We raise large breeds
They will usally have 8-12 a litter
It doesnt take but about 10 females in a years time to add up to around 100 puppies
You need to do your research lady and see what "Puppy Mills" really look like
Again feel free to call any of the meantions place above and find out for your self that we are a Great Place to buy from
Thanks

The sentence "we have HUNDREDS of people that have boughten puppies from us" should throw up a BIG RED FLAG to anyone thinking of buying anything, much less a dog or puppy from this person. For you that have been burned by buying these puppies by someone mass producing them, shame on you for not doing your research First!
You were lied to Yes, but you should have done your homework! You bought too quickly. Contact local breed clubs, or National breed clubs for breeders that follow a standard code of ethics (AKC can help with that) Talk to breders, lots of them. I also want to state that AKC inspected means nothing! If AKC is making $$$ off a mill that is producing lots of AKC registerable puppies that Means $$$ for them, regardless if they "Inspect" or not. Considering AKC is now talking of registering "Mutts", or "Pound Puppies" it shows AKC is in it to make money, whether it be off the person who has 2 dogs or 200 dogs. Puppy millers are here today, gone in 5-10 years as
they aren't in it for the betterment of breed and they love the $$$ not the dogs.
Truth be known, the "Glowing" recommendations you recieved to buy a dog from this mill
were probably relatives or friends paid off to help make a buck or simply persons too ignorant to know what a healthy puppy is.
My 2 cents worth.

You will find out for your self that we are wonderful breeders and
have no sick or mange dogs.
Never had any violations and for sure are not a puppy mill
Please feel free to call me with any questions
We have hundreds of people that have boughten puppies from us that love what they have gotten and have came back for another puppy.
It is sad that some people can and will try to SLANDER others on the web
