i got a shar pei puppy from christi harmon. well what i thought was a shar pei puppy. back jan of 2007. when i got the puppy she looked like a shar pei and i was told that the puppy was a shar pei by christi. my dog is now a year old and she is definitely not a shar pei. she looks more like a pitbull mixed with a shar pei. she doesnt have and wrinkles, her nose is long, and she is pretty small. i love my dog but i paid $800 plus $250 to have her shipped to me and i definitley got ripped off. i didnt get a shar pei i got a mutt. dont buy a dog from christi harmon. you wont get what you ask for!!!

Now im not going to say you didnt get ripped off or anything but i did want to say that not a shar-pei have wrinkles most lose there wrinkles by adult hood and some will retain wrinkles on the neck etc and some can somtimes keep all of them and some pei lose all there wrinkles and dont have any left by adult hood. and about size well sometimes shar-pei can be big up too 60lbs and some as small as 30lbs
there are toy and minature pei breeds out there but sometimes you just get stuck with a smaller pei. our female is probally 35-40lbs and height she is 15in
anyways im not saying you didnt get ripped off but thought id say that alot of pei dont look like the wrinkly ones you see in magazines or calanders. most dont retain wrinkles at adult hood. and there are pei that have absolutly no wrinkles as well. so most likely yours is purebred but doesnt look like the standard you wanted to own.
