Christina Cosmetics Continued to send product after numerous cancellations for over 2 years http://www.christinacosmetics.com/, California

I originally purchased the Christina Cosmetics compact (at the time it was only called Christina Cosmetics since then their product is called "Perfect Pigment.")  I truly liked the make-up, but did not realize that it was a automatic renewal program (read the very, very fine print), and was surprised that within every 30 days I would receive another compact, concealer and lip gloss.  I was literally deluged with the number of compacts that I received, and I had enough make-up to last for years.  Of additional note the first order, only, included a brush which was a rather handy item, but it broke almost immediately.  Due to personal circumstances in my life I did not end up trying to cancel this "deluge" of make-up as I was very sick at the time.  After many calls I finally got in touch with someone in customer service, and they assured me that my auto renewal program was cancelled.  Months went by (btw - I had at least 7 new compacts, in the box un-opened just to give you an idea how much make-up they kept sending and charging me for).  They supposedly only send the make-up every 2 months; whereas it seemed to me that I received a new one once a month.  I even, at one point, said please send me the darker color - that never happened.  Finally, I thought after speaking with someone in customer service the deluge of make-up was over, but boy was I mistaken.

About 4 months went by when all of a sudden it was like a bad nightmare, and the make-up started to come to my house again (remember never another brush over 2 years of this nonsense).  I finally decided that the only way I was going to stop this highly disreputable company from continuing to abuse my credit card was by calling my CC company, and having them close down the card they had the number from, and getting a new credit card number issued.  I also had my CC company document that should this company get any additional charges from Christina Cosmetics that they were unauthorized by me, and should not be allowed to go through.  This was the one, and only thing that stopped Christina Cosmetics from continuing to bill me for make-up I didn't  want, didn't need, and had tried to cancel on numerous occasions.  My cupboard in my bathroom is filled with about 6 more compacts (no brushes lol), numerous concealers and many ugly colored glosses.  BTW - my brush issue I loved the brush (even though it was not high quality because it was convenient to carry in a purse, and the sliding tube allowed you to control the size of the brush - a smart idea).  

All of this said, I was taught a valuable lesson I will never, ever order any item from an infomercial again as they are seem to be of a shady nature.  Quit trying to reach them, and call your CC card company, get a new CC number (closing out your old account so they can no longer charge you), and get a new card making sure your CC company knows that if any future charges come from this company they should be declined as they were not authorized by you.  Although this is a bit of a hassle as you'll be without a CC card for a few days it's well worth it as this company will never stop charging your card as long as they have a valid number.  Last note, I actually did like the make-up, but their business practices were so abhorrent that I would never buy anything from them again.
