I called Christina Cosmetics on June 25, 2008 after receiving another compact to cancel any further shipments. I was accessing my bank online today and noticed that Christina Cosmetics had debited my account also throwing my account over with an overdraft charge.

When I initially called on June 25th, I had to leave a message on their voice mail. I called today, Aug. 22, 2008 and actually spoke to a customer service representative who in fact confirmed my call of June 25, 2008 noting that I was cancelling future orders. I asked that they credit my account and also pay for the overdraft charge that they should be responsible for.

She stated they do not give refunds or credits back on consumer products. I asked to speak with the owner of the company and she said she would report my concerns to the owner of the company, but I could not speak to the owner or anyone in a management position.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a check to cover the cost. This is a company without integrity if they do not care about the people who buy their product.

Response from Christina Cosmetics

AUTHOR: Christina Cosmetics - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 25, 2008

Re: Customer; Joan Denver, Colorado
Response from Christina Cosmetics

This consumer chose the auto delivery (continuity) program she placed her initial order on 2/10/2008. Auto delivery is not an automatic enrollment; it is an opt-in program only. We were authorized by the consumer at the time of her original order to debit her card and ship auto delivery orders every sixty days. Auto delivery does not have the same money back 30 day trial (since the customer has gone through the initial trial program, and chooses to continue receiving shipments). All packing slips state that auto delivery is non refundable without a prior cancellation.

The customer called and left a voicemail on 6/25/2008 and her call was returned the same day. The residential phone number we have on file was disconnected. We then telephoned her place of employment and left a message because she was not at work that day. The call was not returned.

We did not hear from the customer again until 8/22/2008. Joan returned the shipment on 9/9/2008 and was issued a full refund of the purchase price. Her auto delivery was canceled at that time.

We make every effort to accommodate our customer's needs, and are regretful that after several attempts, we were unable to reach her on June 25.

Sincerely,

Christina Cosmetics
