I was shopping on Walmart.com, and added 2 items to my cart. One, a christmas tree actually sold by walmart, and 2, a set of ornaments that were sold (unbeknownst to me) by Christmas Central. I accidentally clicked the Place Order button before I was ready, and realized a second too late that it was being shipped to my old work address.I immediately emailed the customer service to cancel it, and did not think twice about it, as I have never had an issue cancelling same day orders in the past, with ANY company, including companies in Japan.

The item that was actually being ordered from Walmart was cancelled immediately. The one from christmas central was not, and I didnt hear back from customer service until at least 7 hours later, when they informed me "Whoops! Too late, it's already processing!". They also refuse to help you to change the shipping. So, obviously, now I do not want the products as they are rude, and not at all helpful, and generally had a very flippant attitude when dealing with my money. Look, I get it. $50 isnt a ton of money, but its the principle.

what they want you to do, is pay Fed Ex to ship it to the correct address, then, if you want to send it back, pay yourself to send it back, then, they charge you a restocking fee. they know that no one in their right mind would pay all of this money just to return something. It's easier to just eat the cost of the products, which is exactly what they want.

I just think that in 2013 it is absolutely absurd that you cannot cancel a same day order. You can scan checks  and turn on lights with your cell phone, but you cant cancel an order? Come on....

They do very shoddy business, and it is no wonder they have such terrible reviews.I am very disappointed that Walmart even allows them to sell stuff through there. When i added the item to my cart i didnt notice it wasnt sold through Walmart...i didnt know that Walmart did that. I typically shop through Amazon, but thought I'd give walmart a try. I will probably steer clear, as the cancellation policies are too varied. At least Amazon warns you when you are not purchasing through them, and that the rules are different.
