Chrysler Group LLC Defective Factory Paint 2003 Dodge Truck. AuburnHills, Michigan

This March 2009 I bought a used Dodge Ram 1500. Had 59000 miles and really looked great, as far as body and paint.  I did buy a 3 year warranty to cover what most times may go wrong. Never figured what happen, could ever happen. Always bought Dodge  vehicles and never had an issue with paint until now.

Send a letter and called Chrysler Group and talked to them about it. They said  things like that happen and nothing they can do. Plus truck is 6 years old.  Only had the Truck for 7 months and got 5 years to totally pay. Really  hard to pay for a Truck or any vehicle that looks like areas of white type crusty things taken over where paint once was. Did write the PA Attorney Generals office to see if they can do anything. So far haven't heard anything.

Have been reading a lot of other folks are having same problem. I feel that Chrysler may not be around for long and any help I hoped to get is very little to none.

Cost to paint Truck is $2500 to $3000, hard to use money like that when so many other things are needed. Just really hard to be paying for something and looks like that.
