CIC Credit Monitor SVC - Consumerinfo.com Rip you off with thier product, Contact Info, and thier Additional charges, WATCH OUT!! Professional Scam Artists Internet

Not only did this scam offer a free credit report, that in reality showed nothing about your individual credit rating. They also make it manditory for you to pay extra in order to see a complete report. Which is interesting since the their offer was a FREE report, not a bogus summary that could have applied to anyone. Besides that fact I was already scammed by thier product, I then had to cancel thier service before the free trial was over.

Well, this proved to be more difficult than expected. They provide you with contact information on everything else, but no information on how to cancel or even contact them to find out how to cancel. Finally the worst event of the entire process, is when you recieve a 79.95 charge on your credit card for some extra service that they double talked their way into.

Well, I will give them a hand, because I don't get taken that easily, most of the time. But, they got the best of me, and made me a lot more aware of the scam arist industry. They only fact that I still worry about is that they have my social security number and a large amount of biographical information about me. Who knows what they will do with it, or who they will sell it to, in order to line thier greedy pockets with more money they didn't earn.
