CIC Credit Monitor Svc, consumerinfo.com "Free Credit" Ripoff from MSN - Internet

I received a phantom, unauthorized $80 charge on my check card from these jokers. When I searched their name on Google, I got the Rip-Off Report on these theives.

I called their number and they tried to tell me that I had signed up for a year long membership. As soon as I started to argue the woman offered to give me back the $80 - a sure sign of a company that is running a scam and doesn't want any trouble.

As soon as I hung up the phone I received an email from consumerinfo.com stating that they regretted that I had cancelled my membership. I will update this report when the money actually show up in my account. If I don't get EVERYTHING back, I'm going to sue the pants off of these guys.

Somebody needs to put these jerks out of business.
