CIC Credit Monitor ripoff fraudulent charges scam robbery Internet California

A year ago I signed up for a free credit report. I don't recall whether I got the report or not, but I was charged two Credit Report fees from CIC*CREDIT REPORT FEE 877-513-4175 CA for 5.00 and 9.95 on 10/27/03.

Then on 12/10/03, I had a charge from CIC*CREDIT MONITOR SVC 877-513-4175 CA, for 79.95. I thought it strange, but since we were having cash flow troubles at the time, and I ignored the credit trouble, hoping it was a one-time thing.

Now, just last week on my 12/17/04 Credit card statement I see another charge for 79.95, this time from CIC*Credit Monitoring 800-2202626 CA. I tried calling the 800 number, to no avail.

So, I tried to look them up on the Internet, and found that I was not the only one being rooked out of 79.95 on a continual basis! I am fed up and ticked off about this. There is no way in today's day and age, that this should be happening, yet aloane allowed.

I want at least my 174.85 to be reimbursed!
