CIC Credit Monitoring took $79.95 off my debit card without authorization Orange, California

This company took 2x's $79.95 out of my account through my debit card without authorization. I clicked on their web-site - it stated that I could get a free credit report - supplied them with some information about me (I'll never do that again). I informed my bank. I searched the internet and found your web-site with numerous listings from people stating they had been ripped off by these people. I called the company - I told them I wanted the money back immediately.

He asked for personal information - told them I wouldn't give them anything as they already had personal information - all they needed was my name. I told them if I didn't have the money back in my account within 3 business days I would report them to the NYS Attorney General and the California Attorney General's office. I also told them their company name was plastered all over the internet and with the Better Business Bureau as a rip-off company.

The same day they sent me an e-mail and had the nerve to say they were sorry to see me leave as a customer. 2 days later the money was put back in my account - I have since changed my account information and debit card to avoid this from happening again.

Thanks to your web-site I was able to get the money back. Great web-site!!!! I'll never use the internet again to purchase anything as the same week I had another person somehow manage to get my number and order merchandise from Adidas - $200!!!

Adidas is investigation but refused to give me my money back - my bank reimbursed me and they are pursuing the person that took my number. Adidas should hurry up and finish their investigation so this person can be punished appropriately!!!
