File a dispute with your bank or credit card company

AUTHOR: Coffeeandkarma - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 25, 2008

You may need to file a dispute with your bank or credit card company if you have truly cancelled this service. If you can give them the date you cancelled, the method, like phone, email, and an additional date that you contacted the merchant AFTER the last time you were billed, then you should be able to file a dispute. If you have waited too long, after 60 days then you may be out of luck. It's worth a try in this situation. You always have the option of closing your card and having a new number reissued to you so they no longer have an open card on file to charge. Good luck!
