CIC*Triple Advanta Unauthorized Charges Internet

Mid-April of this year I went to freecreditreport.com and decided to get a credit report. They only give you one of the three major credit companies for free. If you want all three reports from all three major credit research companies you then pay $24.95 to get the other two. I decided it was worth it. I recall there being a spot where you could ask them to monitor my credit for $14.95 a month and I chose NOT to take that option. I know this because anytime there is a free-trial period offered on a product I NEVER do it. For fear I'll forget and never cancel. So all the sudden on May 23rd I have a charge to my bank account for $14.95. Then again on June 23rd for the same. I called them and they tried to tell me that I signed up for this. As I stated before. I know that I did not. Plus, if I did then why wasnt a charge on my account statements for April 23rd as well? The trial period, from what she was telling me, expired seven days after I got my initial report on April 13th, and therefore she said I was billed on April 23rd, May 23rd, June 23rd and then recently on July 23rd (I dont have the July statement yet from my bank). I'm looking at my bank statements and I'm seeing two charges, and probably one to come yet on my July statement so that would total three, not four. Dont get me wrong, I'm not complaining that they missed a charge here but if they did that means they purposely did it because I did not choose their re-occuring services and they figured if they slipped it in later I wouldnt notice until they got a couple of charges in before I did and cancelled. Bad business.
