CIC Triple Advantage Aka "free"creditreport.com "free"creditreport.com is scum and like to steal people's money. Irvine California

I just found 2 unfamiliar payments on my credit card. I did a google search of CIC*Triple Advantage 877-4816825 CA and what do you know...thousands of people scammed by freecreditreport.com (aka consumerinfo.com). You'll be surprised to know Experian runs these shady online businesses.

When I signed up for the free credit report I could swear I didn't see any note mentioning the trial period crap. I thought it was no-strings attached. Anyway, I went to the website right now and it does mention that you will be charged if you don't cancel your "membership" within 7 days. But the whole thing is very misleading.

I called their customer service # even though I didn't want to after reading all the horrid experiences of other people. The guy I spoke to was rude and smug. After I told him I'd place a complaint against the company, the guy goes "Ok Is there anything else I can do?" Are you kidding me! You guys have already done enough for me. Thank You.

Atleast I managed to cancel my account (I'll be calling my bank to ensure those asses don't steal another dime off of me).

So I'm warning EVERYBODY to stay away from the above mentioned website...might as well just stay from Experian.

I can't believe these people are still in "business"...stealing $14.95 monthly from hordes of people. I bet many people don't even realize they're donating money to Experian...please go through your bank statements carefully. It slipped by the first month. Fortunately I caught it before it was too too late.

I'm going to call my bank to see if I can get the 2 charges off my account. I can get a decent dress at Target for $29.90!!!
