Circle K Stores, Inc. Market Managers 2667, 2668HR and RDO Western Division Wrongful Termination San Diego California

 I worked for this company for 3 years and 4 months, they have no respect for their employees. I never took a vacation or requested time off in three years, only once. I was terminated for loitering. I never had a write up until my store manager left in February, at which time I requested a leave of abscence. I decided to wait on my leave of abscence and go back to work so the store didn't lose 2 managers; at this time I was told I could not return until I met with the market manager. I was informed I was written up for loitering and that it was up to HR if they wanted to fire me. I was allowed to return to work, after I signed a prewritten statement with a ton of interrogating questions. After this, I never stayed after I clocked out waiting for traffic to die down. The manager from the other store that helped my store had a huge dislike for me. After she came to my store, my life was never the same. I tried talking to her and my market manager for a month and neither wanted to help me. I wanted clarification of my job duties under the new manager, both said ask the other. Towards the end of my employment, the manager sent me a nasty text message and I couldn't work under a hostile work environment any longer. They did a very poor investigation, which the believed the manager and market manager. They did offer me to transfer,I agreed. After waiting over 2 weeks, no transfer was made. In that time frame I requested a leave of abscence due to a personal medical issue, which my market manager knew about, and the day after my request I received a call stating to meet my market manager and the other markets market manager at another location. I agreed, I got there and he informed me I was discharged for loitering and had photo evidence. This was ridiculous, I never stayed later after the previous discussion. I was wrongfully terminated, now I have this mark on my record forever. I feel it was due to me telling the market manager my loyalty was to my store manager and not him. He constantly bullied me, made me feel stupid, put me down on conference calls, and scared me to the point of me crying. Beware of working for circle k, they do not treat their employees well and pay very little.
