Circuit Micro stole my money, never delivered product, unreachable by phone Lake Forest California

In December 2003, I ordered a computer from Circuit Micro. I paid a $35.00 fee and made 3 down payments of $179.00. I ordered the computer I wanted, and waited.

In January, I tried and tried to contact them until finally I reached someone at the 800 number listed on the web site. They said that the computer was on backorder, and that they will ship it as soon as it comes in. So I waited.

In February, I called again, and again and again. I could not reach anyone. The 800 number was disconnected. I tried the 949 number, and finally reached someone who could not help me. This person said they would have someone call me back. No one ever did.

I e-mailed them requesting a refund because I thought their customer service was horrendous. I got this e-mail:

Dear CircuitMicro Customer,

This is to confirm that you sent us an inquiry.

At this time our reply time is behind about 10 business days.

It will be up to an additional 10 business days from the date of this notice sent to you, to receive a reply by one of our Staff Members;

Your concerns are very important to us, and will be handled in the Order in which it was received;

The majority of the inquiries our staff receives could have been avoided by simply reading our help pages that are posted for your convenience.

If you do not find the answers there, we are certain that you will find additional important and useful information.

If the answer to your enquire is posted in the policies or FAQ section,

Unfortunately, our staff will not be able to reply to your concern, since the answer already has been posted.
Just simply go to that section of the site, and read the answer there to your enquire.

Not only could they not spell inquire, they refused to help!

Needless to say, they took $542.00 on my money. Do not patronize this business! They should be shut down!
