Citibank Credit Card ripoff You're charged to close your account! Des Moines Iowa

I was sick and tired of Citibank because they couldn't change our address when we moved. Three times I used the post card the post office provides to change our account without any luck, instead I was charged a late fee as my bill was rerouted through our old address. It usually would arrive on the date it was due. I tried formal letters and calling and was told it was my fault!

Strange all the other companies that I changed our mailing address with had no problem changing our address the first time. I paid over $80 in overdue fees. I had enough. I paid off the entire balance, but made a mistake in the last digit while writing the check that had me overpaying by 9 cents. I did not care about the nine cents, I just wanted the blood sucking company off my back. I did not request the nine cents back at any time! We received a check for .09 from Citibank. We threw it away my bank wouldn't process a check for under .50 even if I was going to attempt to cash it.

Instead of getting a nice zero balance account closed notice, I get a bill for $29.00 on my credit card for mailing the check (as requested) I did not ask for. This is such a load of manure. No one request a .09 cent check--another devious ploy to keep my account open and my money in their hands. Keep the .09 it can join all the other money you (Citibank) has bilked me out of. The account closes now.
