Civic Center Financial Attorney Michael Yellin Took 3500 Dollars from me to assist in refianancing my 2 mortgages, The bank received no contact from him and my house went into foreclosure. Los Angeles, , California

I paid $3500 to Attorney Michael Yellin who was contracted by Civic Center Financial to assist me in a loan modification for both my primary and second mortgage.  I was assured I would get a modification, however, signed a contract stating
if no modification was obtained I would receive a full refund.  After being advised that I should stop paying my mortgage since that was the only way the mortgage company would be urged to help me because I needed to show hardship and that I could not make my payments, I was told, after now being behind over $18,000 in mortgage payments that they were unable to help me because of my debt to income ratio.  I requested my refund on more than 1 occasion,  I then received a phone call back from Civic Center (Glen Filipe) stating that Attorney Michael Yellin had not provided services that he had promised and they asked me to contact him and request a refund.  I too am so tired of being ripped off and I advise anyone who is looking to modify their loan, DO NOT use Civic Center Financial or Attorney Michael Yellin. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Burea.
