So I guess CSI is out of business and two of the main owners have opened up other roofing companies. (Just goes to show that you don't need to know anything about the roofing business to open another company).

Watch out for K-2 Roofing. The blubbering Melissa King owns and operates this company. Her and her former partner Glenn Jessen of Over The Top Roofing can't seem to remember what happened to all the money CSI stole from people. Atleast that's what the news stories said. They are both playing the blame game.

They should be jailed for major theft and embezzlement as well as insurance fraud. My guess is charges will be handed out in the future. It looks like Glenn Jessen has a pretty good rap sheet working already. Robbery and fencing stolen property and more are on the list.

Please don't put all roofing companies in the same category as CSI. There are some good people in this business. But you should definitely do your homework when considering dojng business with any roofing company.

Again keep those calls going to Rebecca Wild at the AG's office.

Finally I have a roof on my house as it was finished Feb. 9th. Today I just got Certified mail from the contractor DEMANDING over 3300 dollars from ME, claiming they have not been paid by their priciple contractor Claim Specialists International. They have notarized documents, basically stating that AVI is going to SUE me instead of CSI.

So I've got this LEIN statement from AVI. I have no contract with them at all, but now I'm getting royally screwed!

It's quite obvious at this point that CSI has hit rock bottom and they have taken the money they've scammed their customers out of, and now are generating legal liability issues for their customers!

I've left a message with Rebecca Wild of the attorney generals office today, with some information pertaining to my case. I wrote the original thread on this ripoff report with all of my documented follow-ups. I would like to sue the hell out of this company!! If there are any attorneys interested in this, or anyone with useful advice, to get me out of this RUTT PLEASE CONTACT ME!

Once again, this clearly validates the fact that CSI is not a legitimate operation. It took almost 6 months to get a roof on my house with various legal threats from myself to get the work done ASAP!

I filed a complaint with the BBB, right after posting my ripoff report here. Here was the response:

On the same day this complaint was filed we spoke to the home owner and told him that he is scheduled to have his roof done the week of Jan 5th. Work should be completed this week.

TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVE NO CONFIRMED DATE ON A ROOF! They have STILL NOT RETURNED MY CALLS!

THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT 100%. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They have TAKEN my money up front, and have REFUSED to conduct business with me.

Their roofing contractor AVI, who is scheduling with me to do the work, won't do the work until Claim specialists international PAYS them.

AVI has told me that CSI is a joke. They have overwhelmed AVI with all of these people looking for roofs on their houses, and all of these people are angry with CSI, and people are addressing their blame to AVI, and this should NOT be the case!

Again, this is almost the 10th TIME THIS COMPANY HAS FAILED TO MEET DEADLINES!

I will be filing a police report, against CSI come this week when I get the time to do so. I've already filed a complaint with the FTC.

I think the owners are just laying low right now with all of their insurance fraud money, and are getting ready to bail.

Claim Specialists and their ripoff company is headed towards the bottom of the barrel.

One of their other former employees says that he had a big argument with one of Claim specialists remaining owners and the owner threatened to sue him and had the Claim specialists attorney order him not to tell customers that they are taking money and not putting on roofs.

If you have given Claim Specialists any money and they have delayed in installing a new roof on your home you should be contacting the AG office.

Do not sign anything or give these con artists any money. Claim Specialists is a ripoff and conduct in possible criminal activity by not installing roofs.

Adios Claim Specialists and good riddance.

Call the company and leave a message saying you are going to contact the Attorney Generals office, the Colorado Division of Insurance and the local media.

Tell them that if you don't have your money back or a roof on your house within 7 days you will take that action. Claim Specialists only understand valid threats and your willingness to do so. I know this works because I've told people, in a similiar situation to do that very thing and they end up getting a roof on their house. Quick!

One of the owners who has a past criminal background is apparently trying to lay low and from what I hear they have lavishly been spending consumers money on new cars, etc.

I don't know what's happening now because it's been a couple of months since I worked there. I have friends inside the company still who tell me what's going on.
