ordered a canon hv30 camcorder from website after using Google to check for 'lowest/best prices'--ordered from CloseOutGenius.com----

received e-mail two days later telling me to call for 'verification" of order---too late, I came to RipOff. com and read your report on this company----did not bother to call back but today (3/24/09) a salseman from CloseOutGenius.com phoned and tried to sell me expensive battery (one with camera was poor quality was the pitch)---

told him to just deliver my original order and that I knew their' tricks' from RipOff.com---said he would cancel my order----later in day e-mail arrived cancelling order and removing all data from their records (will call my CC conpany)--

-don't waste your time -----they are a "Bait and Switch' operation---if it looks too good, it is a "ripoff'"---
many other websites promise to list price deals on many products out there---
check them out BEFORE you order anything-----
