COAST TO COAST ADVERTISING - NATIONWIDE ADVERTISING BILLING WITHOUT PERMISSION, FAILS TO SHOW PRODUCT SPRINGFIELD Illinois

I had spoken with someone at this company before about placemat advertising at a local restaurant. Our only discussion was for a year and that was it. I later decided not to do it and was charged a fee for not sending in an ad to run. I was fine at that point because it was expected. This month the company again charged me for advertising claiming they had me locked into an auto-renewing contract.

The person I spoke with, Mike Weyland, would not discuss this issue with me because I disputed the charge. I requested proof of the contract they claimed authorized them to take the money AND proof an ad was running including the specific location of the restaurant and they will not provide the information to me. He was combative the whole time and hung up on me in the end as I was still requesting information.

I called back and spoke to his supervisor who wouldn't talk to me either unless I faxed a request to cancel the contract. I will not send it because they have not provided me proof that a contract even exists and I think they are trying to trick me into saying that one does. He also mentioned that since I didn't send in an ad to run last year they created one for me and ran it.

At this point they will not return my calls and I still have no proof an ad was ever run on my behalf. I have been to some of the resaurants trying to find it and have been unsuccessful so far.

Stay away from this company, they wil get you good. My research so far shows they've changed names before and have a history of doing this to people.
