Coby Electronics GARBAGE PRODUCTS Lake Success New York

I received a Coby tv for my birthday. We hooked it up and for some reason I cannot get it to communicate with my universal remote control that is supplied by my cable provider Comcast.

Then I had the displeasure of contacting technical support and spoke with John agent # 1120. That went real well (NOT)

I called to get support for my brand new 19 TV model TFTV1913. As soon as I started to explain that my universal remote control that is supplied by my cable provider Comcast didn't work, he rudly cut me off and told me lady it will not work. To keep our products inexpensive we don't add the ability to recognize 4 number pin codes, only 3". Needless to say no universal remote uses a 3 pin code. Then I asked if Coby sells a universal remote control that will work with the TV and he also said NO He was rude and short with me prompting me to tell him that as an internet manager I will blog the internet on how horrible their products and support are. Then he hung up on me.

I promise your company and I told my son's that under no circumstances are Coby products allowed in my home. I'm also in the market for a TV for my living room, there is no way on God's green earth that I will entertain purchasing a Coby product.

What a pack of crooks.
