Coca Cola Company's product, Coca Cola Zero, has serious manufacturing quality control issues. THE FDA IS NOW INVOLVED.

Please be patient. I want to tell you a short story.

On December 10, 2013, I was attending a small party for one of the most wonderful men in the US. He is  70 years of age, and a retired Dean,  still residing at the Dean's residence.

He was consuming a Coca Cola Zero while the rest of us were drinking something a bit stronger.  He was also telling us a story about Coca Cola Zero, in that, just a few months prior, he had purchased an 8 pack of the drink, and none of it was carbonated.

The purpose of his story was to say that he spent several hours on the telephone trying to help the Coca Cola Company improve their processes.

At the end of that effort , Coke thanked him and promised replacement coupons. This older man then made a joke of it saying that he doubted Coke would change their Coca Cola Zero process, since the coupons never arrived.

He said, "When even the coupons don't arrive, surely they aren't going to change anything down the line. The lack of coupons was an indication that the Coca Cola systems were not well coordinated.

Life sometimes is stranger than fiction because just as this former Dean finished his story, he began to choke.

He clutched his throat, and dropped from his chair.  Rising, he literally ran into the chair thrusting the top of the chair into his abdomen. Unbenounced to us, he was performing a self Heimlich maneuver. I was surprised at how swiftly this older man could move.

Having done this, this former Dean was then able to draw breath.

What had happened we weren't initially certain.

However, inspecting the bottle of Coca Cola Zero, we found several pieces of what appeared to be lab tubing in the drink. The tubing was colorless, and unless you held the bottle up to the light, it was invisible to the consumer.

Our guess was that in processing the Coca Cola Zero, the Company equipment had malfunctioned.

But, this was the SECOND time in this man's relatively immediate experience that Coca Cola Zero had had defects.

Again, the Dean contacted Coca Cola, this time in a much more serious mood.

He reasoned that since this near death experience could happen to him, what about the millions of children who would be drinking the beverage in the future.

When he contacted The Coca Cola Company, he was met with a lawyer who said the Company would do nothing to assure him the problems would be corrected.

The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) is now involved (San Francisco Office), and, still, no action by Coca Cola to address the manufacturing problems associated with Coca Cola Zero.

The FDA has been given the drink with the tubing in it, and has been informed of the contact names involved at Coca Cola in Atlanta.

Additionally, the FDA has been informed that Coca Cola has half a dozen full time employees who evidently do nothing but attempt to get the public to be quiet about their problems. The FDA has been encouraged to subpoena the files of these employees to determine how much danger the current Coca Cola systems pose to children and adults alike.

I know this Dean, and he has lived a wonderful life, helping countless children.

When something endangers him personally, he is very forgiving. But, when something has the potential of harming children, he is a different man altogether.

The former Dean has shared with Coca Cola he is not a person who sues others. He is 70 years of age and has never sued anyone.

However, a Coca Cola attorney said that his problem was a situation that would be dealt with as a formality.

The Bottom LIne is that, if the FDA or Coke itself will not protect children, this former Dean believes he has no choice but to do all he can to find a way to force Coca Cola to seriously inspect their quality control systems.

This Rip Off Report is my attempt to help Coca Cola help themselves, and help the Dean to protect children everywhere.

This Does Not Surprise Me

AUTHOR: Bill - ()

POSTED: Monday, January 20, 2014

I have found foreign matter in Coca Cola drinks on several occasions.

Someone needs to retrofit the machines.

I don't blame Coca Cola for attempting to surpress this issue.

But, as an industrial engineer, using metal tubing instead of plastic would take care of the problem being described.

There are other issues that the FDA needs to investigate here.

They may feel free to contact me, and I think I can help.

Or they can contact any competent industrial engineers. Paper auditors, however, would be helpless to either see or enforce the kinds of corrections necessary to make Coca Cola products safe for public consumption.

This Person Is a Real Hero to Me

I too have had problems with Coca Cola Products.

But, I thought that I was powerless to do anything about it except stop drinking the stuff.

I am happy to see that someone has more guts than I do.

I hope the FDA does something. I can just imagine how invulberable these big corporate titans feel they are.

Best of Luck. Hope you protect my kids, and everyone for that matter.
