we bought a printer for $20K and it was broke when we got it and it is still broke. My name is Dan Paris, in May of this year my sister and I bought a DTG (Direct to Garment) Printer from Coldesi in Tampa FL. The printer was delivered late and it was broken in the crate that it was shipped in. We have an email from the Coldise to prove that they knew that is was broke on the first day it got here (23rd of May) we received it on the afternoon of May 22nd . The next day we called Coldesi to let them know about the printer and to tell them we wanted another printer, or our money back, they refused to do either. We have had problems with the printer from day one.

There is much more to the agony that we have been through than just the apparent printer being down. The stress and the lack of rest from worrying, that both my sister and I have been under is taking its toll. We have offered for them to buy the printer back at a reasonable lost to us, but no deal. The printer is only 6 months old and we have change the main board 3 times, the boss board 3 times the magnets on the tray 2 times and the tray sensor 2 times. We have put in 57 support request in the last 6 months, and the printer has been down for more than 75 days in the 6 months that we have had it. We have been broke down this time for 23 day and they tell us it will be 2 weeks before they get the parts to fix it. We have proof to back everything that has been said in this letter.

12/8/14  coldesi said that a tech would be here for a couple of days to fix the printer, he called and said that he could not make it on 12/8/14 that it would be the next day.  He showed up a day late. When he got here (10:30am) he told us that he had never worked on a DTG printer before. The tech also told us that his flight out was at 5:00pm. We told him that we were told that he would big here for 2 days. The tech told us that his boss Joe told him it would only take an hour or so.  The tech said he told his boss why don’t coldise just send the costumer a new printer and we could just bring the old one to the shop and work on it there, joe told the tech that he that is what he wanted to do, but the costumer did not want to do that.  The tech also told us that our case had become a pride thing with coldesi and they were determine to not give us our money back.

(12/9/14) The tech worked all day on the printer and missed his flite, while he was here he printed two shirts, the printer did work, but the prints were not that good. The tech told us the it was a pretreat problem and that we would have to just work with it to get that worked out. The next morning (12/10/14) I tried to print some shirt, the printer did work, but the printer was not letting me print the size that I wanted, so the two shirts that I did print were no good.  (12/11/14) I put in a work request, the tech call 6 hours later and tried to fix that issue, when the printer stopped doing anything. A message on the control panel read [exchange tank? No], the tech could not fix the printer at that time and said he would call back the next day.  The next day (12/12/14) we got an email that read running late will call later today.  At the end of the day a man name Joe called to tell us that they would like to give us another used printer, we said no that we wanted to be finish with the printer and coldesi for good. We did not trust him or coldesi, we wanted our money back.

He said if they did give us our money back there would be a 25% restock fee, Joe said think about it and he would call back on Monday.  On Monday (12/15/14) Joe called and told us that they would buy the printer back for $11,989 that would be close to a 50% restock fee, or we could trade it in on a new printer and pay the differences of $6000.

We said no and we have not heard from them again. We put in a work request every day, but we have not heard from them.
