Columbia Gas Of Virginia A Complete Rip-off Monopology to charge customer without any reasons Chester Virginia

Columbia Gas of Virginia, is a complete Rip-off of a company. Their Customer Service Personal are the worst there is. Since, they know they are the only company providing Gas in certain neighbouhood.

I called Columbia Gas of Virginia to reconnect my Gas, I was told if they sent someone out the same day and he came after business hours I would be charged a $48.00 fees, but if I scheduled something for the next day, I won't be charged anything. So, I opted for the next day to avoid the charge. Well, the inidividual showed up that same day, since I didn't agree for the charges and they still send someone out means,

1.) their field reps had not alot of work-load and wanted to get me taken care-off.
2.) they rip people off by these schemes to squeeze extra dollars out of them.

If they sent him out, they should bare the expense as I had not agreed to pay the additional $48 but instead wanted to wait a day to get it done without the additional charge. Well, guess what right away my bill showed the additional charge and when I called in, I was told everone is charged that amount and I have to pay it. Well that is not what the first agent told me, and I never agreed to pay any additional charges.

The guy didn't even connect the Gas properly, half of my appliances in the house are not working, so when I told them this, the lady was kind enough to inform me that if she sends him out again I will be charged an additional $80 for his visit. WHAT?? An additional $80 for work he didn't do right in the first place?

COLUMBIA GAS OF VIRGINIA is in the business of scamming and ripping people off openly and there are no Agencies to go after them. It is sad how these energy companies have Monopoloy to steal people off of their money. This is complete High-way robbery.
