How to respond

First, stop calling the collection agencies and their assignees on the phone. Get everything in writing. How are you going to prove what was discussed? Collection agents can get amnesia real quick and, from your post this isn't getting you anywhere. Also, send each letter you write Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested (CMRR) and include the certified mail number in the letter itself and keep copies of all correspondence.
Collection agencies are NOT your friends, they have one job - to get you to pay up! Also, I would advise against disputing online especially with Experian. It is no secret that they will reject a dispute that has been previously verified. Again, send each letter CMRR. In case you decide later to file a small claims action you will have a paper trail showing that you, in good faith, tried to resolve this matter.
Hope this helps and stay off the phone!

While we're anxiously awaiting your update, why don't you go to your local community college and take the English course you failed in high school ?? Your spelling and grammar are deplorable !!!

I recently was notified that something new has posted to my Experian credit report. Only my Experian credit report. I log in to my credit report to see that a company by the name of National Credit Solutions was the one who posted the account on behalf of Columbia House. I Google this company, located a phone number (1-800-384-0585). They informed me that Columbia House submitted a file to them stating that I owe them 135.00 for ONE movie from 2006 and that they have tried to contact me server time...Lies, Lies, Lies. I have been living in the same house seen 2004 and NOT one letter nor phone call have I received from them. I went home that evening checked my house up and down to see if it was my error.. Just to find that I didn't even have the movie. I called NCS the next day and explained that there must be a mistake because I do not have the movie for which I am being accused of having and assured them that I closed that account with a ZERO balance. They told me that I would have to send in a letter or call Columbia House to depute this issue, but they could not provide me a number to CH, I would have to retrieve that information myself... Okay, I locate CH number gave them a call for them to inform me that a company by the name of National Assist (1-866-761-6582) is the company that's handling my account and and that they couldn't do anything for me. I explained to the lady that NCS told me call them to dispute the issue.. The lady got up sat and hung up on me. I called the 866 number to NA for the number to just ring and ring and ring.
Since, I was getting no where with CH, NA or NCS, I contacted Experian and disputed the issue through them. A couple days later I receive an email saying the issues has been updated I go on-line to check it out for them to provide me with NO proof but stating the issue is valid. If I am disputing it don't I deserve proof. Either, company can provide me with proof that I have this movie and I know for FACT that I don't. When I requested that CH look into their files they sent me to NA. When talked to NCS they sent me CH.
So, while every one is pointing the finger at the next guy. I am the one getting screwed for a movie that I DO NOT have, furthermore, was NEVER contacted to even handle this matter..
This is some crazy stuff and Experian is in on it... I assure of that... I will fight this thing to bitter end because this company is wrong for not contacting, for falsely accusing me and charging 135.00 for one movie..
Plus, I have had accounts with them after this account number and and not one time did they mention this. and ALL of my accounts were ALWAYS settled in FULL before I closed them out... I use to love this company and be a preferred customer ... How dear them.
If anyone, have experience this same type of issue please contact me at (((ROR redacted))) I would greatly appreciate your help.. Thanks
