Hi there. Brutal!!! Comenity Bank that represented as "Hot Topic Guest List Credit Card" charging you $27 late fee if pay one day or more late. They said OK for me over the phone but still charged me a fee, later they also charged another one, waived one (waiving one late fee for 18 months). For example, you spent $100 and paid late, they will still charge you $27 late fee (which is minimum in that case) Rip Off Alert!!!!!!!

Comenity Bank NOT Registered to do Business In California with Secretary of State

Go to the California Secretary of State's website via "sos.ca.gov" and click onto "business search" and Comenity Bank has never been registered to do business in California. Include that fact with complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, and S,mall Claims Court actions against Comenity...the bank cannot demand payment for anything if they are not registered to do business in California!

This is so easy, even a child could understand it! If you don't want to pay late fees, DON'T PAY LATE!
